Yong Hwan Yi, MS, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac., Yong has a Diplomate of Acupuncture by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the state of New Jersey.
He graduated from The New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and attended postgraduate education program at Guang An Men Chinese Medicine Hospital, Beijing, China, where he studied under Dr. Wang Yin, Dr. Bai, Dr. Zhang Wei, in the areas of weight management, pain management, acute and chronic post-paralysis, and facial rejuvenation.
His acupuncture practice is based upon the traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese medicine knowledge using Acupuncture, Acupressure, Moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha, Auricular therapy, Electroacupuncture and Herbal therapy. His treatment principal incorporates Five Phases & Six Energetics theory of Chinese classics such as Nei-Jing and I-Ching. He utilizes Electronic Meridian Imaging (EMI) system to evaluate the Meridian Energetics of his patient. He is a member of American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), Association for Professional Acupuncture in Pennsylvania (APA), and American Acupuncture Council (AAC). He continues his education and training in programs around the United States to further his knowledge, thus bring forth "Ancient Wisdom, Timeless Compassions!" for his patients.
